Ryan Hales
Ryan has been a freelance carpenter and automation technician on Broadway and Live Broadcast since 2015. In that time he has worked on NBC Live's The Wiz, Misery, Finding Neverland, Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Saigon, Bandstand, Spongebob Squarepants, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Waitress, Oklahoma! and two iterations of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Prior to freelancing on Broadway, Ryan was the Fabrication Technical Director and head of the drafting department at Solomon Group in New Orleans where he worked to "Bring Stories to Life" all around the country. Ryan started in Commercial Scenery at Global Scenic Services where he helped form the automation department as the Head of Automation-North America. During his time at Global he worked on a variety of Broadway, Off Broadway, Regional, and Fashion Shows including Victoria's Secret, Rocky-Broadway, Little Dancer, Little Miss Sunshine, NBC's Peter Pan Live, and the First National Tour of Flashdance. He has also been a freelance Technical Designer for a number of prominent scene shops over the last 5 years. He is a proud member of I.A.T.S.E. Locals 1 and 74.
